Trek to Bakariya Top & Dayara Bugyals is one of the less known & most spectacular and impressive treks of the Gangotri Region. In local dialect, Bugyal means ‘high altitude meadow’. In other words, Dayara Bugyal is to Uttaranchal what Khajjiar (Dalhousie) is to Himachal Pradesh. Perched near Bhatwari on the Uttarkashi-Gangotri (27 kms. from Uttarkashi) highway, Dayara Bugyal is a most unspoilt wonder. During winters it provides excellent ski slopes over an area of 28 sq. kms. On this trek, you will traverse this great Himalayan range and appreciate the sheer geographic diversity – from the verdant, forested valleys and the flowered meadows (thatch) carpeted with wildflowers. Combine this with an interest in the variety of birds, wildlife, forest and wildflowers and the opportunity to view the many snow-capped peaks and you have all the ingredients for a highly rewarding trekking holiday in HEAT 2008 this summer even for the most laid back person.

5	Camp I - Dayara Bugyals ( Camp II ) - (3365M)	Trek 5Kms/ 4hrs	Breakfast Lunch Dinner	After camp I, the route is a lovely gradual traverse climbing to Dayara Bugyals. Fantastic views of the Himalayan range.
6	Day trek to Bakariya Top (3804 M)	Trek 7Kms/ 5hrs	Breakfast Lunch Dinner	Finest day that everybody will look forward to. Closest views of Mt. Bandarpoonch range of peaks, Mt. Sri Kanta, Mt Gangotri group of peaks and Mt Jaonli.
7	Camp II - Taal camp ( Camp III ) (2650M)	Trek 5Kms/ 3hrs	Breakfast Lunch Dinner	A very interesting descend down the ridge on the route to Barsu village and then descending down to a forest camp at Taal . This area is rich in bird life.
8	Camp III to Base camp	Trek 7Kms/ 4hrs	Breakfast Lunch Dinner	The route leaves the trail down to village Barsu and traverses back to the base camp through dense forest and the Nehata Thatch. Lunch at the base camp. Evening free at leisure
9	Drive Raithal - Haridwar	190kms/ 6hrs	Breakfast Lunch Dinner	Drive back to Haridwar after breakfast. Lunch enroute at Rishikesh. Post lunch free to visit the holy towns of Rishikesh & Haridwar. After dinner, depart for Delhi by 2200 hrs. Overnight coach journey.

PACKAGE INCLUDES
All transportation in non a/c coach, accommodation in tents on sharing basis, all meals as per itinerary, all camping and trekking equipment’s, guides and services of camp leaders.

EQUIPMENT FOR THE TREK
We provide all equipment for the trek like tents; carry mattress, sleeping bags, rucksacks etc. You are just required to bring your clothing & good strong pair of walking boots.

MEDICAL FACILTIES
Facilities for proper medical aid are available at every campsite throughout the trek. However those on special medication or with known drug allergies should bring their own necessary medications.

SAFETY
Extensive and painstaking preparations have gone into the planning of trek routes keeping safety in mind. Our experienced camp leaders have been constantly visiting the area to check all the details. Stringent safety standards are adhered to strictly, and only quality equipment is used.

CANCELLATION
The package price will be deducted as per the following conditions strictly. No refund will be entertained without receiving a cancellation request effective from the date of receipt of letter.
Notice of less than 30 days: Half fee refund
Notice of less than 15 days: No refund.

No refund will be given to people who are unable to complete the trek or abandon it due to any reasons.

CERTIFICATE
Every trekker will be awarded with a certificate on successfully completing the trek.
