DETAILED ITINERARY

Day1: Arrival at Delhi Airport/ Rooms Blocked for Immediate Occupancy

* On your arrival in Delhi, you will be met by a tour representative who will escort you to your hotel
* Transfer to the hotel and check into your rooms
* Overnight in hotel in Delhi

Day 2 New Delhi City Tour / Sikh Temple/ Walking Tour of Connaught Place

* Visit a Sikh temple – Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. - is the most prominent Sikh gurdwara, or Sikh house of worship situated in the heart of New Delhi's. It is instantly recognizable by its stunning golden dome and tall flagpole called the Nishan Sahib
* Seva” – After visiting the Gurudwara, experience “Seva”. Outside Gurudwara entrance, there is a Joda Ghar (shoe house), where one leaves their footwear before walking through a `Chhabachha' (a shallow pool) of water that 'washes' one's feet.
* Have a meal in the Gurudwara as “Langar” sitting on the floor in a queue (Pangat)
* 3:30 PM: Visit Humayun’s Tomb: HUMAYUN'S TOMB is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi, India
* Walking in Connaught place inner circle - to feel the pulse of the shopping center. This walk is a delight as it showcases the true pulse of the city. You will experience a Bansuriwala (flute player) enthralling the public with his music, stalls selling fashion jewelry, browse through hundreds of book at street stalls, vendors selling street finger food of India
* We take you to a local pub for an experience (Drinks & meals on your own)

Day 03 Delhi – Amritsar by Train

*Transfer to Railway station - Depart hotel at 5:45 am from the hotel
* Board Train from Delhi at 7:20 am for Amritsar
* Welcome to Amritsar at 12:45 pm -! The city of the Golden temple by morning train from Delhi
* Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Check into the hotel
* Lunch at hotel
* Evening at leisure
* Dinner in the hotel
* Overnight stay at Amritsar

Day 4 Golden Temple/ Living Cultures of Punjab Theme Village/ Indo Pak Border Ceremony/ Light & Sound Show 

* Meet at the hotel lobby at 9:00 AM to go for a morning visit to Hari Mandir Sahib. Pay respects at Akal Takht Sahib, the oldest of the five Takhts.
* Visit the very interesting Sikh Museum hosting old and ancient weapons of the Gurus.
The Golden Temple which is also known as Harmandir Sahib located in Amritsar, Punjab, is considered the holiest shrine in the Sikh religion. Sikhs from all over the world visit golden temple
* In the evening, visit Wagah border. Indo-Pak Wagah border ceremony - The lowering of the flags ceremony at the Wagah border near Hussainiwala National Martyrs Memorial is a daily military practice that the security forces of India and Pakistan have jointly followed since 1959.

Day 05 Amritsar- Dharamshala - Via Ancient Temple and Fort

* After breakfast at 8:00 am, drive to Dharamshala
* Hot Lunch on a route around 12 noon Enroute visit the Masrur 8th Century old monolithic temples cut out of one single sandstone rock decorated with sculptural ornamentation (5Hrs Drive)
* The drive to visit the Kangra Fort (1Hr 30 mins). Take an audio guide at the entrance for a memorable walk up the fort

Day 06 Cultural Wilderness Walks in & Around Dharamshala

* Our walk starts from Naddi village and, walk brings us to the Tibetan Prayer Flag temple, yoga meditation center of Buddhist monks to experience peace tranquility of this hidden secret gem. We continue to walk through the dense forest towards Dharamkot Village and Bhagsunaag village
* Lunch at restaurant
* Rest time till afternoon

7 Day  Walks & Drive-in & Around Dharamshala

* Experience the Kora holy walk (1 Hr) just outside the temple set in pristine wilderness, where you will see Buddhist monks and nuns chanting holy hymns. The entire route has small chortens and rocks painted with Tibetan scripts.
* We'll see Tse Chokling Monastery, St John in the Wilderness Church, a village school, Tibetan Medical Centre, and Norbulingka Institute (a learning centre for traditional Tibetan art and craft).
* Lunch at Norbulingka.
* Drive back to Mcleodganj and enjoy a relaxed evening shopping and walking
* Drive back to the hotel for Dinner

Day 08 Dharamshala to Manali via Baijnath

We'll travel deeper into the Himalayan foothills today to Manali, located at the head of the Kullu Valley. The drive takes us through the breathtaking scenery of snow-capped peaks, pine forests and fruit orchards

BAIJNATH is a town in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. It is about 50 kilometers from Dharamshala which is the district headquarters. The very famous ancient temple of Lord Shiva (Baijnath) is situated here giving the town its name Baijnath

Manali - With mountain adventures beckoning from all directions, Manali is a year-round magnet. Manali is a high-altitude Himalayan resort town in India’s northern Himachal Pradesh state. It has a reputation as a backpacking center and honeymoon destination. Set on the Beas River, it’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley. Day 9, Vashisht Hot Springs to Jogini Water Fall Walk/ Drive Upto High Altitude

The nearby village of Vashisht, with its hot springs, we’ll walk to the sacred Jogini waterfall. From here, we’ll continue to Nehru Kund (4kms/ 2Hrs) where our vehicles will take us towards the snowline, which offers sweeping valley and snow-capped mountain views. Walking time: Approx. 2.0 hours

Day 10  Walk to Bijli Mahadev Temple / Visit Nagar Castle

* 2hrs drive from Manali brings us to the Chansari Village, the starting point of Bijli Mahadev Temple walk.
* From Chansari, there is a 3-km-long well-defined trail. Located on top of Mathan hills, is the legendary Bijli (Electric) Mahadev temple. The sylvan surroundings of the quiet valley are mesmerizing, with a wide array of deodar and pine forests. The temple is indigenously built of wood and stone, a form of typical hill architecture with sloping roofs made of wooden planks
* We visit the Naggar Castle, and Roerich Gallery which houses paintings by Russian artist Nicholas Roerich. Time permitting; we may include a short walk this afternoon
* Drive back to the hotel

Day 11 Drive Manali to Shimla

Trek from Dzongri to Thangsing takes about approximately 4-5 hours after walking through the bushes and hedges. At first, walking in the plane table land after a few hours, we rapidly descent down the river Prek. On the way, one can view almost all the ranges above all Mt. Pandim looks beautiful. In Thangsing, besides the Govt. huts are all barren, here is no civilization. Overnight stay at camp.

Day 12 Heritage Walk in Shimla 

The best way to explore this lovely hill town is on foot. Walkthrough the Lanes & Trails of this British Himalayan Town and know about the stories of the bygone era. The British built this town and left legacies. If you can manage to have an Ariel view of Shimla you will notice that the town is a museum of architecture. Victorian, post-Victorian, gothic, Georgian, Tudor, Moc-Tudor, Bavarian, neo, Lyutens, and modern all examples are there in one place. 

Highlights of the Walk: The most imposing and attractive structures which include castles, temples, heritage hotels, banks, and government offices are the highlights of this walk. They are some of the best examples of British Architecture of the era and reveal the history and various interesting stories of the glorious past.

Day 13 Mountain Landscape Walk-in Mashobra

We'll drive to Mashobara where we'll start our walk through a pine forest to Seepur village, sometimes steeply on tracks and reasonable paths. We follow the contours going through several hamlets to Kanda village. Towards the end, the path goes a little off-piste on a steep track but then the path is nicely graded down to the village. Walking time: Approx. 

Here we will meet our transport and return to the Woodville Palace Hotel for a chance to enjoy tea on the lawn.

Day 13: Samiti (4,200m) to Tshoka (3,050m); 6-7 Hrs. Trek

Start retracing steps towards Thangsing will take about a couple of hours or so. From Thagsing / Lamuney follow the trail to Kokchurung (3,800m) which is a good camping site. Continue descending towards Tshoka by going through a bye-pass route directly to Tshoka. Overnight stay at camp.

Day 14 Toy Train Experience in Shimla/ Train to Delhi

Our Toy Train journey today offers some spectacular views of the valleys as it twists its way down gradually from Shimla to Khandaghat The Kalka–Shimla Railway is a 2 ft 6 in (762 mm) narrow-gauge railway in North India which traverses a mostly-mountainous route from Kalka to Shimla. It is known for dramatic views of the hills and surrounding villages. The railway was built under the direction of Herbert Septimus Harington between 1898 and 1903 to connect Shimla, the summer capital of India during the British Raj, with the rest of the Indian rail system.
We'll then take a short drive to Barog, where we'll have lunch before boarding our train to Delhi at Kalka (journey to Delhi approx 3.5 hours).

Day 15 Old Delhi Walking & Rickshaw Ride / Historical Gardens Walking Tour 

*Post breakfast, drive to old Delhi for Rickshaw Tour and a walking tour
*Rickshaw Ride” On our sightseeing Rickshaw tour of Old Delhi your senses will come alive as you will encounter the many captivating sights and sounds this amazing city has to offer.
*JAMA MASJID: Jama Masjid is the last work of Emperor Shah Jahan. Its construction began in 1650 and was completed within six years.
CHANDNI CHOWK: Chandni Chowk or "Silver Square" is the most famous and historic street of Delhi, built around 300 years ago when the walled city of Shahjahanabad was established in the 17th century.
*SPICE MARKET/KHARI BAOLI: Khari Baoli is a street in Delhi, India known for its wholesale grocery and Asia's largest wholesale spice market selling all kinds of spices, nuts, herbs and food products like rice and tea
