Nanda Devi the second highest mountain in India and the highest located entirely within the country. It is the 23rd-highest peak in the world, center guarded by more than 25 beautiful looking peaks in the Himalaya.

     

    Garhwal: Lying in the Himalaya, it is bounded on the north by Tibet, on the east by Kumaon region and on the northwest by Himachal Pradesh state. The Garhwal Himalaya has long been associated with people's need to introspect and find peace. Besides the spiritual importance of Devbhoomi, it is being recognized for its growing adventure activities and sports.  truly a paradise on earth, allures everyone from everywhere.     Day 1:  Arrival at Delhi Airport / Delhi City Tour - Sikh Temple, Shopping, Local Pub Experience

    *On your arrival in Delhi, you will be met by a tour representative who will escort you to your hotel
    *Transfer to the hotel and check into your rooms (after 2:00 pm)
    *We drive to visit a Sikh temple – Gurudwara Bangla Sahib.. - is the most prominent Sikh Gurdwara or Sikh house of worship situated in the heart of New Delhi's
    Seva” – After visiting the Gurudwara, we participate in 10 minutes of Seva. Outside Gurudwara entrance, there is a Joda Ghar (shoe house), where one leaves their footwear before walking through a `Chhabachha' (a shallow pool) of water that 'washes' one's feet.
    *Experience to serve food “Langar” around 10,000 people in a day
    *Janpath is the market which is also popular for the materials which are coming from outside India. They are also sold in this market at a good rate
    *Walking in Connaught place to feel the pulse of the shopping center.
    *Transfer to hotel

    Day 02:  Drive From Delhi-Corbett National Park 

    *Early morning, we drive from Delhi to Corbett National Park. The park is named after the famous British hunter Jim Corbett and established in 1935 along the banks of the Ramganga River. It has dense Sal forests spread throughout and also has sub-Himalayan ranges at its background.
    *Arrive by lunchtime and check into the hotel.
    *After lunch, we rest for a while
    *In the evening, experience ASIATIC ELEPHANT CLOSE UP – A short talk by the in-house naturalist and routine feeding program
    *We recommend a walk to the river in the evening as a good photography opportunity
    *In the evening, enjoy a bonfire with music & dinner.
    *Over Night stay at Hotel.

    Day 03: Game Drives / Jungle Safari X 02 in Corbett National Park

    *MORNING JEEP SAFARI - Before breakfast, early morning proceeds for second Jungle Jeep safari right inside the Heart of Reserve Forest Core Zones for game viewing.
    *Post breakfast, FISH FEEDING & BREEDING ACTIVITY AT RIVER KOSI - We walk down to the river for a unique familiarity of experiencing the great Mahasheer fish.
    *EVENING JEEP SAFARI - Post lunch in the hotel, we leave for the second, Jungle Jeep safari right inside the Heart of Reserve Forest Core Zones and have a view of flora and fauna
    *Enjoy Bonfire / Music with Dinner.
    *Over Night stay at Hotel

    Day 04: Drive From Corbett – Pangot Birding National Park

    *After the early breakfast leave for Pangot famous for its forest cover & Bird Sanctuary.
    *Check into a Himalayan lodge
    *PM. - half-day walk for photography & bird watching
    *Return back to the lodge by evening.

    Day 05: Birding in Pangot 

    *2 sessions of for photography & bird watching post breakfast & post-lunch
    *Return back to the lodge by evening.
    *Dinner, overnight stay at camp

    Day 06:  Drive From Pangot – Nainital - Binsar

    *After the early breakfast leave for Binsar famous for its great views.
    *Enroute visit the famous and lovely Naini Lake. Don’t miss a boat ride on the Naini Lake.
    *On reaching Binsar, Check into a camp/ hotel in a dense forest area.
    *Hike to the highest point of the Binsar forest area for some great sunset views of the Himalayan peaks.
    *Return back to the camp by evening.
    *Dinner, overnight stay at camp.

    Day 07: in Binsar (Day Trek to Jageshwar Temples)

    *After Breakfast, we leave for a day trek to Jageshwar Temples (13 Kms.) This days trek is a relatively easy grade trek that traverses through the thick forest of Binsar National Park. The first 6kms give you an amazing view on the left of the entire Nanda Devi National Park peaks.
    *Brahma Kund (pool) and worship Lord Shiva. On this day, fairs are also held in many other places.
    *Return back by Jeeps in the evening.
    *Dinner, overnight stay at the camp

    Day 08: Drive Towards Patal Bhubaneshwar 

    *Breakfast check out from Binsar sanctuary and drive towards Patal Bhubaneshwar caves. Reach by noon and check into a Himalayan Lodge. (The last 3 km drive to the retreat is through an untarred, one-way mountainous trail
    visit an NGO (12 km drive) focuses on capacity building of rural communities, enabling them to make sustainable and capable contributions to society with a fair mix of appropriate technology and the use traditional craft for the empowerment of rural communities
    *Evening at leisure

    Day 09: Day Trek to Laxmeshwar Temple With Bird Watching & Visit Caves 

    *breakfast, we go for a 3kms easy hike to the Laxmeshwar Temple. Laxmeshwar Temple - an old temple dedicated to Lord Shiva sits atop a mountain which is a 3 km uphill climb from the retreat. It also offers fabulous 360-degree views and on clear days, one could spend an entire day tirelessly taking pictures and still not be satiated. This is a four-hour trek including return

    *drive to the Cave temples. Visit the cave temples
    *Drive back to the lodge
    *Evening at leisure
    *Overnight.

    Day 10: Drive to Kausani

    *After breakfast, we drive to Kausani.
    *This day’s drive is a scenic drive and recommended for photography of the Himalayan peaks. We stop en route at places to take pictures of the mountains. Chaukori is especially renowned for the best view of the Himalayan range
    *Check into the Hotel/resort.
    *View Sunset over the Largest 350 Km of Himalayan ranges if the weather is clear.
    *Dinner, Overnight at Kausani hotel

    Day 11: Drive From Kausani – Joshimath 

    After breakfast, it is a long drive to the scenic meadows of Auli which offer the closest views of the Garhwal Himalayan range. Truly a photographer’s delight
    *Arrive Auli by late afternoon
    *Check into the hotel
    *Evening at leisure to enjoy the spectacular views of the Himalaya
    *Bonfire & Dinner and overnight

    Day 12: Walk to the Gorson Top & Bugyals 

    *After breakfast, half a day walk to the Gorson top for some amazing views of the great Himalayan 7000M peaks such as Neelkanth, Dunagiri, Hathi Parvat, nada Devi, Trishul, Changabang, etc
    *Return back to the hotel by late afternoon
    *Evening at leisure to enjoy the spectacular views of the Himalaya and experience Himalaya trek
    *Dinner & overnight in hotel

    Day 13: Drive to Kirtinagar 

    *Early morning, time for the last opportunity of sunrise photography of the Nanda Devi National park peaks
    after a little late and relaxed breakfast, we drive to Kirtinagar, descending down to the plains around 10 a.m.
    *Post breakfast, we drive to Kirtinagar.
    *Arrive by late afternoon and check into the hotel
    *We relax a bit after a long drive over a cup of evening tea
    *Evening, an option of visiting an ancient temple if we have the time
    *Overnight in hotel in Kirtinagar

    Day 14: Drive to Rishikesh via Devprayag (Confluence of 2 Rivers & Formation of the Holy River Ganges)/ Explore the Twin Holy Towns of Rishikesh – Haridwar

    *Post breakfast, we drive to Haridwar.
    *Enroute visit - "Devaprayaga" means "Godly Confluence" in Sanskrit. As per Hindu scriptures, Devaprayaga is the sacred event of merging two heavenly rivers, Alaknanda and Bhagirathi, to form the holy Ganges.
    *HARIDWAR WALKING TOUR: Starting at 02:00 P.M. from Kotwali police station walk in Bara Bazar Street. Later visit Mansa Devi Temple by cable car. Visit Pashupati Nath Temple, Gau Ghat & Har Ki Pauri. Enjoy the evening ceremony (Ganga Aarti). Drop at Kotwali / Hari Pauri Parking by rickshaw.
    *Check into hotel
    *Overnight in a hotel.

    Day 15: White Water Rafting / Drive to Delhi 

    *In the morning a basic Yoga session for an hour at the river banks
    *Enjoy a 24kms rafting run stretch
    *Post lunch, drive to Delhi
    *Arrive by late evening
    *Transfer to International airport for connecting flight to onward destination.
