There are 10 National parks in Madhya Pradesh and 25 wildlife sanctuaries

The TRIBES OF CHHATTISGARH are indigenous races who mainly inhabit the forests of Bastar and its surroundings. The Gonds, Bastar, Abhuj Maria, Dhurvaa, BisonHorn Maria, Muria, Halbaa, and Bhatra are the principal tribes inhabiting more than a third of Chhattisgarh's population. The tribal state is also known as “The Rise Bowl of India”. They have very ancient history and culture filled with traditions and customs. Categorized as "aboriginals", in Hindi, tribals are known as adivasis, denoted as "ancient inhabitants.

    Train to Agra. Visit Agra Fort, the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty till 1638,  a UNESCO World Heritage site

    Visit the world famous Taj Mahal at sunrise, the Ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri. Overnight train to Umaria

    Drive from Umaria to Bandhavgarh national park (32 km/1 hrs.), known for its large population of royal Bengal tigers. Jeep safari in the evening.

     Drive to Kanha national park (240 km/ 6-7 hrs.) a vast expanse of grassland and forest in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.

    Morning and evening game drives in Kanha - one of the most well managed, tourist friendly & popular tiger reserves of India.   It is spread more than 940 sq km in a horse shoe shaped valley bound by the spurs of the Mekal range

    Drive to Kanker (251 km / approx 7 hrs.)-  is a land of unsurpassed natural beauty. Since time immemorial pristine tribal societies have created and sustained delicate rhythms of life in harmony with nature.

    Drive to Jagdalpur(120 km/3 hrs.)- Visit the anthropological museums and the surroundings of Jagdalpur. Show-cases interesting elements oftribal life and displays artefacts collected from tribal villages including dresses, weapons, paintings and sculptures.
